Course Description
This 8-hour course provides participants with a baseline knowledge as to how electricity is produced. It begins with your basic electrical theory covering atomic structure, bonds, electron pairing, law of electrical charges, and sources of energy. Participants will also learn in depth about magnetism, electromagnetic inductance, AC versus DC, transformer theory, motor/generator theory, and a few applicable laws; such as, Faraday’s Law of Induction, Lenz’s Law, Kirchhoff’s Law, and of course, Ohm’s Law. Lastly, there will be a plethora of calculation examples to end the class. Supplemental handouts included in cost of course.
