Course Description
This 8-hour course provides participants with a chance to become familiar with ampacity and the tables in Article 310 and how to properly apply correction and adjustment factors. Once they have appropriately applied the derating values, participants will work on selecting the correct wire size, type, ampacity, temperature, and voltage rating. Lastly, this course discusses the importance of voltage drop on new installations and how to calculate for it. Supplemental handouts included in cost of course.
