Course Description
Electrical theory is a basic building block that every electrician must be familiar with and is crucial to understanding the function and operation of electrical equipment to ensure proper installation and to complete tasks such as troubleshooting electrical systems and equipment. This course will introduce participants to the general concepts of electrical theory, how to perform basic electrical calculations using Ohms Law, an overview of series and parallel circuits, and will guide participants through selection and use of electrical test equipment. Supplemental handouts included with the cost of course.
