Electrons, Protons & Electricity

Course Description

This course provides a simple introduction to atomic theory and how it relates to electricity, beginning with a discussion of the Big Bang as a scientific model for the origin of matter. Students will learn where electrons and protons come from, how they interact to create electrical flow, and how their behavior affects conductors, insulators, and semiconductors. The course also explains how these concepts apply to common materials like copper and aluminum, helping connect basic theory to real-world electrical systems. Supplemental handouts included in cost of course.
