Course Description

This online course provides a practical introduction to electrical safety based on NFPA 70E, focusing on how to recognize hazards, assess risk, and apply safe work practices when working on or near energized equipment. Topics include establishing an electrically safe work condition, lockout/tagout procedures, arc flash and shock protection, and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Participants will gain an understanding of their responsibilities, how to reduce risk, and how to work safely in accordance with NFPA 70E requirements.
