Transitioning from skilled craft professional to crew leader requires a different way of thinking. This three-day course gives you the practical leadership skills needed to guide a construction crew effectively. Through instruction, discussion, and hands-on activities, you’ll learn how to communicate clearly, provide direction, solve problems, plan and organize work, and create a safe, productive jobsite, all while gaining the confidence to lead a team successfully.

COURSE INSTRUCTORS
This course will be led by Zach Lundmark and Matt MacIsaac, who bring more than 30 years of combined construction industry experience to the classroom. Zach is a full-time CITC instructor, while Matt serves as CITC’s Eastern Washington Apprenticeship and Facility Manager. Both bring extensive field experience and years of teaching and mentoring apprentices, giving students a practical perspective shaped by real-world experience in the construction industry.
