Course Description
This class provides a thorough review of the City of Seattle’s Gas Piping regulations, codes, standards, and key definitions. The course is designed to reinforce essential knowledge and ensure a strong understanding of local gas piping requirements. Students will gain a clear understanding of best practices for gas piping installation and maintenance in Seattle. The course will also include a review of 2021 Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC) updates, WAC amendments, and practical waste, vent, and water pipe sizing exercises, as time permits.
